The <br />work involved selective demolition of existing interior partitions, floor finishes and ceilings. Renovation to <br />incorporate selected existing perimeter offices while creating a mostly open office environment to facili- <br />tate the meeting of small and large groups. Spaces for a small meeting room, a training room/ <br />classroom, conference room and a break room were incorporated in the new design. The design will <br />include limited modification to the existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems <br />to accommodate the new layout. The Garage requires removal of interior fin- <br />ishes throughout and removal and replacement of exterior stucco and roofing windows and doors in ad- <br />dition to new Electrical and Mechanical equipment throughout. On the first Floor it is recommended that <br />Public, ADA Compliant Restrooms be installed. This work was part of our Continuing Contract with the <br />City of Coral Gables. The 2,060 sf building was reconstructed with materials appropriate to replicate <br />the historic fabric and design details that have been lost to neglect and fire, while meeting today’s strin- <br />gent structural and building energy codes. The building was restored to its original use as a public li- <br />brary and includes new life-safety systems as required by code. The Work was developed in accor- <br />dance with the U.S. Secretary of Interior’s Guidelines for the Reconstruction of Historic Buildings. Site <br />improvements was limited to perimeter fencing, outdoor security lighting, landscaping and irrigation. <br />This work was part of our Continuing Contract with the City of Miami. <br />Construction Cost $918,502
