FIRM REFERENCES AND SIMILAR WORK COMPLETEDF Avirom & Associates, Inc. is pleased to submit our response to the City of Sunny Isles Beach’s Request for Qualifications for Surveying Services. Established in 1981 by Michael D. Avirom, the firm is dedicated solely to the land surveying profession. The Avirom team includes 43 individuals and seven registered land surveyors, three of whom are licensed drone pilots. Avirom & Associates is a qualified and experienced team of professionals who have worked together for decades to deliver services to municipalities through the Florida region including the cities of Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Key West, Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Village of Islamorada and the Florida Counties of Martin and Monroe. The firm’s portfolio includes boundary, platting, topographic, laser scanning and route-of-line surveys to facilitate the design of community improvements. We are also proficient in construction layout, as-builts and the preparation of easements. We are pleased to be joined in this proposal by Stephen Seeley, P.L.S. and the Gibbs Land Surveyors’ team. Our professional association with Steve dates back more than 20 years during which time we have collaborated on a number of relevant surveying assignments in the South Florida region. The firm’s reputation for client service, long standing continuing contract assignments including the Cities of Hollywood and Hallandale Beach and their proximity to the City of Sunny Isles Beach makes Gibbs an asset and added layer of resources to our team and ability to service this contract. In response to the City’s request, if selected, Avirom & Associates is willing to meet any location, budget, or task orders associated with this contract. Please consider our current workload and commitment to meet the City’s project schedules and contract requirements. Current and Projected Workload: Similar to this advertisement by the City of Sunny Isles Beach Continuing Contract for Land Surveying and Mapping Services, Avirom & Associates holds contracts with public agencies throughout the tri-county region, Martin and Monroe County. We are currently under contract with the following municipalities. • City of Coral Springs (thru October 2020) – no current projects • City of Delray Beach (thru August 2022) – no current projects • City of Key West (thru April 2023) – Survey services of 5th Street and Patterson Avenue to address Citizen Action Line report / Thomas Street and Amelia Street to address Citizen Action Line Concern • City of Pompano Beach (thru October 2020) - no current projects • Martin County (thru May 2021) – no current projects • Monroe County (thru October 2020) - no current projects • Town of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea (thru May 2022) – no current projects • Village of Islamorada (thru August 2020) – no current projects • City of Tamarac (thru September 2020) - no current projects • City of Marathon (thru February 2022) – no current projects • City of Lauderhill (pending new contract) – on going miscellaneous projects Licensing and Certifications: Avirom & Associates is licensed and in good standing with Florida’s Department of Professional Regulations and all agencies associated with the Land Surveying and Mapping industry, federal, state and local entities. Small Business Status: Avirom & Associates is a certified Small Business and shall serve as the prime contractor for this Land Surveying Services Continuing Contract with City of Sunny Isles Beach. As previously stated, Gibbs Land Surveyors will serve as an extension of the Avirom team. They are a certified small business entity.
