Improvements include upland features (i.e. new bathroom facilities, a splash park, landscaping, etc.) and in-water <br />infrastructure including a dock for kayaking and paddle boarding and finger piers for boats. E Sciences was engaged by the <br />project design firm to initially assist with the master plan and then to provide permitting support during design. E Sciences’ <br />services include conducting a benthic resource survey, coordinating with the permitting agencies and preparing permit <br />applications. Mr. Freedman was the project manager for this project. Tasks included performing environmental phase reviews and preparing and reviewing NEPA <br />documentation for over 70 roadway and bridge projects including field identification of listed species habitat, wetlands, historic <br />resources, Section 4(f) and contaminated sites.
