(Cummins Cederberg) is pleased to submit this RFQ for Continuing <br />Professional Consulting Services, to City of Sunny Isles Beach (the City) for your review and <br />consideration. We acknowledge receipt of addenda 1 – 4. Cummins Cederberg is excited for the <br />opportunity to present our firm with the motivation to develop a long-term relationship as a trusted <br />consultant for marine structural engineering and environmental engineering. <br /> <br />We have reviewed and understand the scope of work to be performed and are familiar with the City’s <br />goals outlined within the 5-year Capital Improvement Plan. It is our understanding the City is planning to <br />construct a new dock to create an observation deck at Intracoastal Park, which is within our core services. <br />The City has experienced a revitalization of redevelopment and is one of the most desirable oceanfront <br />communities in South Florida. <br /> <br />History <br />The firm was founded by Jason Cummins, PE, and Jannek Cederberg, PE, and over the course of ten <br />years has successfully grown into a leading engineering firm for complex coastal and marine engineering <br />projects in South Florida and the Caribbean. Cummins Cederberg is repeatedly selected ahead of larger <br />national engineering firms due to our unique and focused qualifications. The firm’s success is built on <br />providing high quality work in a transparent manner to build long term relationships. The two founders <br />have extensive experience in the coastal and marine from both private and public clients. They have <br />been involved in more than 500 coastal and marine engineering projects throughout Florida and the <br />Caribbean (some of the largest in the region) providing unmatched knowledge and experience.
