Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) <br />Request for Qualifications No. 20-07-01 <br />Section E – Page | 4 <br />Hydrologic/Hydraulic study, installation of groundwater monitoring wells, stormwater <br />master plan, and flood control study and implementation plan. <br /> <br />RJ Behar assisted the City of Hialeah with the preparation of the stormwater <br />assessment program, as required by the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System <br />(MS4) Permit. We prepared the water quality monitoring plan, pollutant <br />loadings/evaluation, prepared two Public Education and Outreach Presentations for Illicit <br />Discharges and Use of Pesticides, and prepared a Bacteria Pollution Control Plan. <br /> <br />Currently, RJ Behar is assisting the City of Miami Gardens with an update to the City- <br />wide Stormwater Management Master Plan. <br /> <br />Project experience in water resources includes: <br /> Lake Okeechobee Water Retention/Phosphorus Removal Critical Restoration <br />Project, SFWMD <br /> Assessment of Water Management Practices Within the Four Priority Basins of the <br />Lake Okeechobee Watershed <br /> Stormwater Consultant for the City of Hallandale Beach <br /> City of Hialeah Mulching Pit Solid Waste Permit and Groundwater Monitoring Plan <br /> Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan for I 95 Pump Station project <br /> City of Miramar Citywide Canal Assessment <br /> Maintenance Dredging Evaluation C-16 Canal <br /> Lake Chaves and I-95 flood study <br /> Hillcrest Golf Course Drainage Study <br /> Don Shula Expressway Stormwater Master Plan <br /> NW 5th Street Bridge Hydraulic Report <br /> C 4 Canal Flood Protection <br /> Hickory Hammock Equestrian Campground Site Design <br /> Water & Sewer Design <br />In the area of water distribution and wastewater collection, we have extensive expertise. We provided general engineering <br />services contract for the Broward County Water and Wastewater <br />Services Department and we participated in the Waterworks <br />program for the City of Fort Lauderdale. In these contracts RJ <br />Behar performed the design of water distribution systems, <br />conversion of septic tank neighborhoods to wastewater collection <br />systems, new pump station design, rehabilitation of existing lift <br />stations, electrical and mechanical evaluations, preparation of <br />Basis of Design Reports (BODR), review of master planning <br />documents, evaluation of sites for communication towers, <br />hydraulic analyses and calculations, as well as construction <br />administration and observation services. For Palm Beach County, <br />RJ Behar designed the relocation of 1,310 feet of 20-inch water <br />main and 1,299 feet of 16-inch force main relocation as part of the <br />Northlake Boulevard Bridge over the Loxahatchee Slough. The <br />new water main and force main are located on the new bridge. RJ <br />Behar prepared all the details and structural design to <br />accommodate the new utilities on the bridge. <br />Other projects include: <br />MS4 NPDES Stormwater <br />Assessment, City of Hialeah
