<br />The City of Deerfield Beach CRA received grant funding to improve its Sullivan Park property located on the Intracoastal
<br />Waterway. Improvements include upland features (i.e. new bathroom facilities, a splash park, landscaping, etc.) and in-water
<br />infrastructure including a dock for kayaking and paddle boarding and finger piers for boats. E Sciences was engaged by the
<br />project design firm to initially assist with the master plan and then to provide permitting support during design. E Sciences’
<br />services include conducting a benthic resource survey, coordinating with the permitting agencies and preparing permit
<br />applications. Mr. Freedman was the project manager for this project. Project Budget/Fees: $41,833

<br />This project involved a multi-disciplinary landscape architecture and environmental restoration plan for the waterways and tidal
<br />pool within the museum’s property, which balanced ecological function with creative landscape aesthetics, recreational functions
<br />and values, and improvements to water quality, and planting designs based on historic flora inventories, including mangroves,
<br />native hardwood hammock and coastal scrub species. Mr. Freedman served as the project manager for the construction
<br />administration portion of this project, including evaluating contractor qualifications and conducting compliance inspections.

<br />Environmental Management Office. Tasks included performing environmental phase reviews and preparing and reviewing NEPA
<br />documentation for over 70 roadway and bridge projects including field identification of listed species habitat, wetlands, historic
<br />resources, Section 4(f) and contaminated sites. Contract Budget/Fees: $6,857,273
