BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include <br />scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />CALTRAN provided Engineering design services including roadway plans <br />and profile plans, widening, cross sections, drainage, curb and gutter, <br />shoulders, and turn-around (auto-turn) design for the implementation of turn <br />lanes reconstruction, drainage inlets (evaluation of percolation tests), V swell <br />re-grading, signing and pavement marking as per FDOT Standards and Plans <br />Preparation Manual . <br /> <br />CALTRAN also performed a traffic study to consider the installation of gates <br />within the community. The activities involved with this traffic study involved <br />supervision and coordination with architects and general contractors, zoning <br />and public works in order to prepare construction documents for the proposed <br />gate modifications in the community. Review technical specifications and <br />approved materials with the general contractor. <br /> <br />CALTRAN also participate in the preparation and review of cost estimates for new community gates, architectural improvements, bid <br />packages. Review progress reports, payments and change orders. Perform construction engineering and inspection (CE&I) for proposed <br />improvements. <br /> <br />Total $ 42,800.00 <br /> <br /> <br />25.
