All safety items used by employees will be furnished by the Company, and safety items belonging to <br />employees will only be authorized if they satisfy standards and do not impair the uniform image <br />of the Company. <br />All items used by the Company must comply with ANSI regulations. <br />e.) PROTECTION EQUIPMENT USED WHEN APPLYING PESTICIDES <br />The law establishes that what the label says is the law! Read all the basic personal protection <br />requirements and follow recommendations to best protect yourself. <br />An additional rule of our Company, which does not contradict other regulations, is: <br />When handling any chemical product, pesticide or fertilizer, whether concentrated or in solution, <br />always use rubber gloves and a mask. If the use of special anti -chemical gloves or masks is indicated, <br />these will be provided. <br />The company will provide you with all the necessary resources to ensure your safety, according to the <br />criteria or recommendations of the product manufacturer. <br />£) ORDER AND CLEANLINESS <br />Company management is responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in all areas of their <br />properties. <br />Follow these recommendations: <br />1. Keep work tools and materials in appropriate containers or conveniently stored. <br />2. Deposit waste or garbage in the containers provided for this purpose. <br />3. When dismantling wooden structures, make sure nails are removed before storing or discarding <br />the wood. <br />4. Store materials safely. Keep the floor clear of tools, bits of rebar, pieces of metal, wood or <br />other waste, such as tree branches, wire, etc. <br />5. Keep aisles, stairs, doors, fire hydrants, etc., clear of all obstacles. <br />6. As work progresses, continue to keep your worksite clean. <br />7. If other companies are working at the site, coordinate with them to make sure their waste does <br />not affect the safety of our employees. <br />8. If waste at the worksite makes it unsafe, do not begin work until all materials have been <br />collected and stored and the area cleared. <br />9. If you detect hazardous conditions at the site that you cannot correct, immediately report this to <br />L <br />e until the d <br />your superiors for remedial action, and do not allow employees near tsite anger <br />has been eliminated. Tools with circular movements, such as drills, discs, saws, etc., can suddenly produce a <br />dangerous pull affecting the at•tns or the back. When handling this type of tool, be aware that <br />this might occur if the tool gets stuck. <br />4. When using these tools assume the correct posture. Do not work with your body twisted, use <br />both hands and ask for help if you need it. <br />
