Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service is responsible for the purchase of this <br />equipment and any damaged equipment. <br />6. Respiratory Protection - A properly fitted respirator with N95 filtration will be worn by <br />anyone using a tool or machine that creates visible dust in their breathing zone. Failure <br />to wear it will result in disciplinary action including removal from the jobsite. Superior <br />Landscaping and Lawn Service is responsible for the purchase of this equipment and any <br />damaged equipment. However, if lost by the employee, the cost of a replacement will <br />be deducted from the employee pay. <br />7. Reflective clothing - All workers within the right-of-way of a road or parking lot must <br />wear high -visibility safety vests that meets the Performance Class 2 requirements of the <br />ANSI/ISEA 107-2010 publication entitled "American National Standard for High -Visibility <br />Safety Apparel and Headwear." Failure to wear it will result in disciplinary action <br />including removal from the jobsite. Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service is <br />responsible for the purchase of this equipment and any damaged equipment. However, <br />if lost by the employee, the cost of a replacement will be deducted from the employee <br />pay. <br />8. Personal clothing — All employees are to wear long pants and shirts with a minimum 4 <br />inch sleeve at all times. No jewelry or loose -fitting clothing should be worn while <br />operating landscaping machinery. Shorts, tank tops, etc do not project the professional <br />image of Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service and does not offer the injury <br />protection required by Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service standards. Failure to <br />wear it will result in disciplinary action including removal from the jobsite. Superior <br />Landscaping and Lawn Service is not responsible for the purchase of personal clothing. <br />Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be inspected by the employee daily for wear and tear; <br />the site superintendent will inspect once a month during a routine weekly safety break. <br />Hazard Communication Program <br />A written Hazard Communication Program has been developed to provide education and <br />training to all workers about any chemicals expected to be found on a Superior Landscaping <br />and Lawn Service job site. This program is intended to ensure compliance with Occupational <br />Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) requirements for the adoption of the LIN Globally <br />Harmonized System (Hazcom 2012 / GHS) and to provide a safe work environment for <br />employees working here. <br />The company is responsible for the implementation of this program and its review, <br />maintenance and updating as necessary. <br />All employees, including permanent and independent contractors, who may have exposure to <br />hazardous chemicals during normal work or in emergency situations must comply with the <br />practices and procedures outlined in this program. <br />%T17 <br />
