x/11' OF SUN 0`" <br />SECTION 3 <br />Supplemental Services <br />3.1 Supplemental Services ("On Demand"),: <br />This section is separate from the Basic Services (Recurring Monthly) maintenance. Even though <br />some of the items listed in this section are part of the monthly recurring maintenance, the Bidder <br />must assure that these are also available on demand. These services will be requested as needed <br />by the City. The bid and award evaluation will include the unit prices submitted in the Supplemental <br />Services Bid Form. <br />3.1.1 I. PLANT REPLACEMENT (see section H in the Bid Form) <br />Plant replacements shall conform to, or exceed the minimum standards for Florida No. 1 <br />grade or better in the most current edition of the Florida Grades and Standards for Nursery <br />Plants prepared by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. <br />I1 thru I105 This bid item is to include removal and proper disposal of existing plants, <br />and then delivery, layout, placement, staking, mulch, initial hand <br />watering until established if needed, cleanup and maintenance of new <br />plants in the locations designated by the City. <br />3.1.2 J. MATERIALS (See section I in the Bid Form) <br />The supplying and placing of this item is separate and unique from the normal need to <br />supply and place this material as part of the ongoing operations covered in other bid items. <br />For this item to be accepted and paid for by the City, the service must be specifically <br />requested by the City for a unique and specific task. <br />3.1.2.1 OTC INJECTIONS <br />11-32 This bid item is to provide Coconut and Date Palm OTC (Lethal <br />Yellowing) injections in the locations designated by the City. <br />Follow manufacturer's recommendation regarding application <br />rates and methods. <br />3.1.2.2 TOPSOIL <br />J3 This bid item is to include the supplying, delivery, placement, and <br />grading of 70/30 topsoil in the locations designated by the City. <br />This topsoil shall be a high quality mix of 70% organics (Florida <br />peat, etc.) and 30% sand. <br />3.1.2.3 PREMIUM GOLD COLORED MULCH <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach I ITB 20-08-01 Right -of -Ways and Facilities Landscape Maintenance Services <br />
