TRAINING OVERVIEW <br />SFM has a thorough training program specific for Landscape <br />Services. Training is conducted by SFM’s Director of Human <br />Resources Joe Pinon. Mr. Pinon is a certified instructor with <br />the State of Florida. This is a competitive advantage SFM has <br />over other Landscape companies. It gives SFM the ability to <br />train and retrain employees as necessary throughout the <br />year. Trainings in “PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)” and <br />“Work Safety Practices & Procedures” are conducted. <br />The following methodology is employed by Joe Pinon for his <br />trainings: <br />1. Classroom teaching based on research and personal experiences. <br />2. Professional participation by experts in the field of the subject. <br />3. Practical exercises discussed and acted in role plays in class. <br />4. Situational Exercises where specific issues are presented and resolved in class by the student and <br />further discussed in a group setting. <br />5. Testing and Quizzes of materials shared in class. <br />6.
