SR 30 will be resurfaced from the Walton County Line to the visible pavement change on the west side of the intersection with Heather Drive. <br />Existing travel lanes, auxiliary lanes, median crossovers, and paved shoulders will be resurfaced. As part of this project, left-turn lanes in both directions <br />will be constructed at Palm Beach Drive, Dolphin Drive, and Gulf View Drive, and an eastbound only left-turn lane will be constructed on Gainous Road. <br />Drainage analysis and improvements will be provided to repair areas of apparent flooding on the north side of SR 30 between Ashley Drive and Wells <br />Street and the south side of SR 30 at Jamaican Lakes Drive. <br />As part of the SR 30 (US 98/Back Beach Road/Panama City Beach Parkway) 3R project, Hanson performed an evaluation to provide bicycle and <br />pedestrian facilities throughout the project limits. Recommendations were made and approved to provide a multi-use trail on the south side of SR <br />30A and a sidewalk facility on the north side of SR 30A. Hanson is preparing the design and acquiring the permits for the multi-use trail and sidewalk <br />facilities on SR 30A to be constructed within the 3R project. <br />Cost: $1,535,800 <br />E
