("PEDELTA") is an experienced Bridge Engineering firm
specializing in complex bridges and heavy civil infrastructure
projects that provides local and international experience. This team has been deliberately chosen to
complement each other's professional and personal strengths in
order to perform as a seamless, fully integrated team. PEDELTA is
currently working together with CH Perez and MRG (core members
of the team) on the Snowden Pedestrian Bridge over Canal C-100
for Miami Dade County (lead by PEDELTA).
The Design Team is composed of local talented firms with extensive
national and international proven experience and have contributed
to numerous successful bridge projects. On these projects, ourteam
members have brought innovative designs, as well as construction
and maintenance cost savings to our clients. Several ofoursignature
bridge projects have received international recognition for
innovation and aesthetics.
SCO PEDELTA
The City's Transportation Master Plan (2016) recommended the construction of an elevated pedestrian
crossing over Collins Avenue at 174th Street.
Accordingly, Calvin, Giordano & Associates Inc. (CGA) developed an Overpass Planning Study for this project, as
well as a conceptual design for the elevated pedestrian crossing and Park components. As a result, the proposed
pedestrian overpass will be designed as a new open space containing park features as well as a lookout to enjoy
refreshing Oceanic views.
PROJECT APPROACH
The multi -disciplinary design team is comprised of engineers, architects and landscape architects that will work
in collaboration with the City and relevant stakeholders.
The specific opportunities and constraints of this pedestrian bridge, the masterplan and the urban/public realm
context are the exclusive base upon which we will develop our proposal. Coupled with the design team years
of experience and expertise, the design will be inspired by the client's vision, as well as our commitment to
City of Sunny Isles Beach
Request for Qualifications No. 20-10-01
-16-
