Russo, City Manager <br />FROM: <br />Susan Simpson, Assistant City Manager <br />DATE: <br />11 /19/2020 <br />RE: <br />Agreement with Team Contracting for Ongoing Sidewalk <br />Replacement and Repair <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />This Resolution is presented for your consideration <br />REASONS: <br />The City annually inspects and repairs city sidewalks, curbs and <br />gutters. Team Contracting, Inc. has an agreement with the City of Fort <br />Lauderdale to provide the same services. The City wishes to <br />piggyback on that agreement to utilize the services of Team <br />Contracting to repair city sidewalks, curbs and gutters as per the <br />attached proposal. <br />The City also requests additional funds to be allocated for ongoing <br />repairs that may be needed throughout the fiscal year within the <br />approved budget amount. Together, city staff seeks a Not To Exceed <br />amount of $70,000 with Team Contracting for sidewalk, curb and <br />gutter replacement / repairs citywide. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funds are budgeted for and available in the Streets Accounts: 110-5- <br />5410-446006 / 446007 <br />Description <br />Resolution <br />Agreement <br />Item Number: 10.D. <br />
