Agreement <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff is recommending the City Commission approve the attached <br />Resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to approve Change Order #1 to <br />the Agreement with Team Contracting for design, construction and <br />restoration services for the Pelican Community Park facilities and <br />baseball field. This additional work required on the project that was not <br />in the original bid or was due to additional quantities. The original bid <br />is thru the Job Order Cost process, each item is a line item in the bid. <br />Credit on baseball field fence was due to using a lesser gauge fencing <br />on the top portion of the fence and additional gate work. <br />The lobby wall was originally bid as a straight wall section, the <br />additional cost to make it a curved wall per the City's request. <br />Fire sprinklers are required by the Building Department and were not <br />in the original bid. <br />General conditions are for security fencing around the ball field. <br />Permit and testing are for fee reimbursement for building permits and <br />includes a contingency for the master permit. <br />The roof patch was an unexpected expense that the vendor found and <br />was not on the original bid. <br />Stucco bands are for the additional work involved with the decorative <br />bands at the building entrance due to bad stucco behind the bands <br />being repaired and the deficient method the old bands were <br />constructed. <br />Stucco work is for additional quantities required over original bid <br />estimate based on field testing of hollow areas. <br />Baseball field fence (Credit) -$632.29 <br />Curved reception wall $1,355.02 <br />Fire sprinkler for storage $3,076.97 <br />General conditions $4,605.03 <br />Permits & Testing fees $8,813.05 <br />Roof Patch $2,089.56 <br />Stucco bands $10,586.01 <br />
