Russo, City Manager <br />DATE: 2/18/2021 <br />RE: Qualify and Shortlist Architectural Firms Pursuant to <br />RFQ 20-07-01 for Continuing Consulting Services <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />This Resolution is presented for your consideration. <br />REASONS: <br />In July 2020, the City advertised and issued RFQ No. 20-07-01 for <br />Continuing Consulting Services. After careful evaluations of the 44 <br />submittals, the following four (4) firms were shortlisted: <br />• Perkin+Will Architects, Inc. <br />• M.C. Harry & Associates, Inc., Inc. <br />• Rodriguez Architects, Inc <br />• BEAArchitects, Inc. <br />City Administration is seeking approval to negotiate with these firms on <br />an as -needed basis to give the City flexibility to select the firm deemed <br />best suited for a particular project requiring architectural services. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />The firms shortlisted are for the architectural discipline only, and will <br />be used on an as -needed basis. Any negotiated contracts will be first <br />reviewed by the City Attorney for legal sufficiency, and any contract <br />exceeding $50,000.00 must be approved by the City Commission. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Description <br />Resolution (Added 2/16/21) <br />Item Number: 10.0. <br />
