(1) The gravity of the violation; <br />(2) Any actions taken by the violator to correct the violation; <br />(3) Any previous violations committed by the violator. Notwithstanding any provisions in this <br />chapter, the Special meter Magistrate may reduce the fine imposed pursuant to this chapter if <br />the violator is not a repeated offender. <br />Section 20. Amendment to Chapter 194 of the City Code. Chapter 194 of the City Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Chapter 194 — NUISANCE <br />§ 194-4. - Enforcement; penalties for offenses. <br />A. Violators of this chapter shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in Chapter 14 of the <br />City's Code of Ordinances, providing for a maximum fine of $500.00 for each single <br />violation and up to $500.00 per day for each continuing or repetitive violation, or may be <br />subject to imprisonment of not more than 60 days. The City's Fede <br />En.t. Development Services Department shall be responsible for enforcing this <br />chapter. The Police Department may also enforce this chapter. <br />Section 21. Amendment to Chapter 197 of the City Code. Chapter 197 of the City Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Chapter 197 - LOCAL BUSINESS TAX <br />§ 197-12. - Application procedures. <br />C. Receipt number. All applications and receipts shall be assigned a number, which may be an <br />individual's social security number and a corporation's federal tax number, or such other <br />uniform method of numbering selected by the City Manager or his designee, with the Dir-eetef <br />of Management 143ffnE�tien Systems. <br />§ 197-13. - Grounds for denial; appeals. <br />A.
