<br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach | Invitation to Bid No. 21-03-02 14 <br /> <br />2.11 MONTHLY INVOICES PAYMENTS <br /> <br />Vendor shall submit no later than the 10th day of the following month vendor's completed Invoice <br />for services rendered. Should the 10th fall on a weekend or holiday, Contractor shall submit his <br />invoice on the next workday. <br /> <br />Payment will be made by the City after services have been received and accepted in accordance <br />with Section 1.13 of the General Terms and Conditions. These invoices shall be submitted to the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, ATTN: Accounts Payable, 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, FL <br />33160 or AccountsPayable@sibfl.net. All documentation shall reference the appropriate Contract <br />number, detailed trip information, and the dates or period that the Services were provided. <br /> <br />2.12 RIGHT TO TERMINATE <br /> <br />The City may, by written notice to the contractor, terminate the contract if the contractor has been <br />found to have failed to perform their services in a manner satisfactory to the City as per <br />specifications. The date of termination shall be stated in the notice. The City shall be the sole judge <br />of non-performance. <br /> <br />2.13 E-VERIFY <br /> <br />Prior to the employment of any person under this contract, the Successful bidder shall utilize the <br />U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of (a) <br />all persons employed during the contract term by the Successful Proposer to perform employment <br />duties within Florida and (b) all persons assigned by the Successful Proposer to perform work <br />pursuant to the contract with Manatee County. For more information on this process, please refer <br />to United States Citizenship and Immigration Service site at: http://www.uscis.gov/. Only those <br />individuals determined eligible to work in the United States shall be employed under this contract. <br />By submission of a bid in response to this ITB, the successful Proposer commits that all employees <br />will undergo e-verification before placement on this contract. <br /> <br />2.14 EXCEPTIONS <br /> <br />Contractor is advised that if it wishes to take exception to any of the terms contained in this Bid, it <br />must identify the term and the exception in its response to the Bid. Failure to do so may lead the <br />City to declare any such term non-negotiable. <br /> <br />2.15 HOLIDAYS <br /> <br />The City recognizes the following holidays: <br /> New Year’s Day <br />Martin Luther King’s Birthday <br />Presidents Day <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Labor Day <br />Veterans Day
