1 <br />ADDENDUM # 1 <br />DATE: May 21, 2021 <br />TO: All Proposers <br />FROM: Procurement Department <br />RFP NO.: 21-03-01; Holiday Lighting and Decorations <br />SUBJECT: Addendum No. 1 <br />BID SUBMITTAL DEADLINE: Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 2:30PM <br />Please attach this addendum to the documents in your possession and include the Acknowledgement <br />of Addenda form with your response incorporated with the Request for Proposal. <br />Q1. Can you provide a photo of your pole decorations from last year? <br />A1. Pictures enclosed, please reference page 2-3 herein. <br />Q1. Are we able to receive a copy of the scales for the City monument signs mentioned in this RFP for <br />Holiday Lighting and Decorations? <br />A2. Pictures enclosed, please reference page 4-10 herein. Please note, a piece of the entrance sign for <br />Monument 2 is out for repair and not pictured. <br />Q2. Can we do a Good, Better, Best option? <br />A2. For evaluation purposes, Proposer shall provide pricing in accordance with Bid Form 3. However, <br />additional options can be included for informational purposes. <br />Q3. Is the yearly price a lease? <br />A3. This is not a lease agreement. However, the agreement would require for the approved services and <br />décor be available to the City each year the agreement is valid. <br />Q4. In regards to the penalties for repeat issues. How will a tripped GFI, unplugged cord, other vandalism <br />or acts of God be treated that are not the fault of the vendor, the materials or workmanship? <br />A4. Issues that are not the fault of the vendor would not be assessed penalties. However, issues that are <br />not following the terms of the contract would be (i.e. response time, not meeting deadline, etc.). <br />Q5. Please verify Automobile Liability is correct at 5M when the General Liability Insurance is only required <br />at 1M. <br />A5. Correct <br />Q6. Does the City have electrical outlets at the base of each tree in the center median and along the sides <br />of Collins Avenue? <br />A6. An approved outdoor extension cord may be needed to reach the closest outlet. <br />Q7. Please advise what "equipment" means in Section 3.2 and 3.3. <br />A7. Equipment refers to any of the holiday decorations (i.e. lights, Christmas trees, menorah, décor, etc.). <br />Q8. Section 1.12 mentions a Bid Bond and Performance Bond, but the amounts of these bonds are not <br />specified anywhere. Please clarify the limits/specifications of each bond that is required. <br />A8. Neither is required for this bid.
