Russo, City Manager <br />Sylvia Flores, Cultural and Community Services Director <br />May 20, 2021 <br />Award Invitation to Bid No. 21-03-02 for Motor Coach Transportation <br />Services to Academy Bus, LLC <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff is recommending approval of this Resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />In April of this year, the City issued Invitation to Bid No. 21-03-02 for Motor Coach <br />Transportation Services. The City has received three (3) responses to the bid, and <br />recommends the bid be awarded to Academy Bus, LLC., as the lowest bidder, as well as the <br />most responsive, responsible. . <br />The term of the initial agreement will be for two (2) years, with a not -to -exceed amount of <br />$120,000. The agreement will also provide for three (3) additional renewal options of one (1) <br />year each, at the City's discretion. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />The City has been doing business with Academy Bus, LLC since 2016 and has found them to <br />be professional, responsive, and reliable. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funding is budgeted and available in account nos. 001-6-5720-452000-608XX. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />Agreement <br />Item Number: 10.13 <br />
