Comparison commercial uses. <br /> Pet stores (See Section 6-8 of the code of ordinances for restrictions relating the <br /> retail sale of dogs and cats). ... <br /> Section 5. Sections 1 through 4 of this Ordinance shall be codified. <br /> Section 6. If any provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof to any person or <br /> circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> of this Ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and <br /> to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> Section 7. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. . <br /> Section 8. This Ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days after passage. <br /> The passage of this Ordinance on first reading was moved by Commissioner <br /> Golden, seconded by Vice Mayor Mulvehill, and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as <br /> follows: <br /> Mayor Rene A. Varela AYE <br /> Vice Mayor Suzanne Mulvehill AYE <br /> Commissioner Scott Maxwell AYE <br /> Commissioner Christopher McVoy AYE <br /> Commissioner Jo-Ann Golden AYE <br /> The Mayor thereupon declared this Ordinance duly passed on first reading on the 1st <br /> day of February 2011. <br /> The passage of this Ordinance on second reading was moved by Commissioner <br /> Maxwell, seconded by Vice Mayor Mulvehill, and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as <br /> follows: <br /> Mayor Rene A.
