City of Sunny Isles Beach 2020 Draft Water Supply Related Amendments Adopted XXXX XX, 2021 Amendment No. 2 The following lists the amended Objective, Policies and Monitoring Measure which shall be included in the City's adopted Comprehensive Plan to ensure consistency between the elements in the Comprehensive Plan and the City's 202010 -year Water Supply Facilities Work Plan Update. Conservation Element Policy 2E: The City shall coordinate through NMB Water, as appropriate, with Miami -Dade County to assist in efforts to achieve its Five Year Water Efficiency Plan goal of 4-55 121 gallons per capita per day. Policy 2F: Implementation of the 20165 2020 10 -year Work Plan Update shall ensure that adequate water supplies and public facilities are available to serve the water supply demands of any population growth that the City may experience. Policy 2G: The City shall coordinate the planning of potable water and sanitary sewer facilities, water supply sources, demands, other services and level -of -service standards with the City of North Miami Beach, South Florida Water Management District, and through the N1 2018 Lower East Coast Water Supply Plan Update, as necessary. Policy 2M: The City will participate, when warranted, in the SFWMD's Water Savings Incentive Program (WaterSlP) for large-scale retrofits as recommended by the 2013 2018 Lower East Coast Water Supply Plan Update. Policy 20: The City shall support Miami Resilient 305 Strategy, addressing resilience challenges prioritized through intergovernmental and community collaboration. Policy 2P: The City shall support Building Efficiency 305 (BE305) countywide water and energy efficient strategies for existing large public and private sector buildings. Policy 2Q: Through Ordinance No. 2020-557 the City has implemented Mandatory Year - Round Landscape Irrigation Conservation Measures.
