<br />9,275 SF for forensics and evidence storage, and 2,860 SF for vehicle processing. A 200+ space, secured parking structure was
<br />also incorporated on the constrained site, growing the building to 196,000 SF.

<br />ROLE: Structural Engineer - ADG provided a detailed spatial needs assessment, master planning, cost estimating, design, and
<br />construction administration services. Police divisions within the complex included administration, internal affairs, records,
<br />detective’s division, crime scene unit, crime analysis unit, property and evidence, victim advocacy program, patrol, SWAT, and
<br />crisis negotiation unit. The facility design also included an evidence processing lab, located on the second floor across from the
<br />evidence drop and storage area. The lab includes stainless steel counters, chemical resistant cabinets, epoxy flooring, a fume
<br />hood, emergency eye wash, and various analysis equipment.

<br />ROLE: Structural Engineer - The City of Cape Coral selected ADG to provide programming, master planning, design, and
<br />construction administration services. The new 100,755-SF headquarters provides the police department with state-of-the-art
<br />facilities for their 345 employees and includes areas for administration, patrol, investigative services, professional standards,
<br />communications, property and evidence, holding and processing labs, and a multitude of training facilities outfitted with the
<br />necessary technology to be easily converted to the city’s emergency operations center. The facility includes 3,200 SF for crime
<br />scene investigations, 11,425 SF for forensics and evidence storage, and 1,600 SF for vehicle processing.

<br />ROLE: Structural Engineer - The ADG team was chosen to prepare a design criteria package for a new six-story Pembroke Pines
<br />Police Department Headquarters. The 150,000-SF building is expected to have a 34,700-SF parking garage for 449 secured
<br />spaces. The new state-of-the-art headquarters will include criminal investigations, professional standards and internal affairs,
<br />SWAT, Homeland Security, K-9-unit, dive team, and drone unit.
