<br />Enrique Maciá has over 30 years of experience focused on justice facilities. Enrique
<br />specializes in master planning, design, schematic drawings, design development, and
<br />construction documentation for detention, correction institutional, and judicial facilities
<br />for federal, international, state, and local governments. His focus on justice facility design
<br />began in 1989 with the design of the Albert V. Bryan U.S. Courthouse. Since that time, he
<br />has continued to work on every facet of justice design, developing a strong background
<br />in the master planning, conceptual and detailed design, and construction administration
<br />of many courthouse, detention, corrections, and public safety projects.
<br />Mr. Macia’s justice projects have been extensively published, including multiple
<br />publications in the AIA Justice Facility Reviews, and the 1980-1991, 1991-2001 and 2001-
<br />2010 Retrospectives of Courthouse Design. He was also on the Advisory Group of the
<br />Academy of Architecture for Justice, and has served as both editor and juror for the AIA’s
<br />Justice Facilities Review.
