<br />improvements are to provide areas for outdoor cafes with unified furnishings, lighting and landscaping that enhances visitor experiences

<br />reconstruction of NE 2nd Ave from N 42nd Street to N 51st Street. The project consisted in reworking the street to allow for two travel
<br />lanes, bike trail and some parking in critical areas. Cost: Project Budget $4,300,000

<br />We focused on naturalizing the interchanges via ecological patches that can serve as habitat rich stepping stones that allow the highway
<br />to serve as a facilitator in re-establishing natural systems. These systems would introduce native plant communities, bird habitat, and
<br />pollinator habitat to the urban matrix. At the same time, they will display native vegetation to motorists while enhancing their experience
<br />and cognitive state by exposing them to nature. Cost: N/A

<br />and various other services, we felt the organization and simplicity of wayfinding was a crucial improvement in overall experience. Project

<br />Curtis + Rogers is pleased to have conceived the “Everglades Landscape” concept for the GSA Federal Office Building in Miramar, Florida
<br />during the alternative concept phase of the project. The landscape development of this site, which had been part of the Everglades in the
<br />1900’s, was based on the idea of restoring this unique environment, which still exists a few miles west of the site. The landscape elements
<br />of the project are critical in that they will serve multi-faceted roles, the reestablishment of the relationship between the natural processes
<br />and the human activity, the treatment of storm water and its release to replenish lost wetlands, provision of habitats for plants and animals
<br />contributing to the ecological diversity. Cost: $156,000,000
