BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />Project Description: The Corradino Group, Inc. (Corradino) is providing <br />professional continuing and comprehensive services to the City of <br />Hallandale Beach on an as-needed basis in the areas of transportation <br />planning and engineering, traffic studies, utilities, and roadways. <br />Services under this contract include, but are not limited, to: updates, <br />feasibility studies, traffic impact, traffic data collection, water/sewer <br />impact, roadway design and impact analysis population and housing <br />projections; review building and site development requirements, <br />development plans; concurrency review and other planning services. <br />Projects performed for the City include: <br /> <br />A1A PEDESTRIAN LIGHTING - A traffic study was performed for Hallandale Beach Blvd. <br /> <br />WAL-MART EXPANSION - Corradino conducted a traffic study, site plan reviews, and participated in City Council meetings regarding <br />Wal-Mart’s proposed expansion plans. <br /> <br />BEN GAMLA SCHOOL APPLICATION - A traffic impact study and operational review was conducted relating to the number of <br />students/trips to determine effect to roadway facilities. <br /> <br />2000 SOUTH OCEAN DRIVE TRAFFIC IMPACT STUDY PEER REVIEW - Work involved tasks such as site visit, field inventory, document <br />review, intersection capacity analysis, summary report, and meetings with the community, PZ Board and City Commission. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC IMPACT REVIEW WITHIN THE LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE DIPLOMAT LOCAL ACTIVITY CENTER (LAC) - <br />Corradino provided traffic services such as intergovernmental coordination and traffic review services. Reviews included the <br />Diplomat Local Activity Center application within the Land Use Plan Amendment, allowing the applicant to apply for rezoning <br />and site approval, both applications would be reviewed separately by Corradino. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25.
