PLANNING & URBAN DESIGN <br />Since 2009, NZC specializes in providing outstanding planning and urban design services to local governments <br />focusing on new urbanism principles and the public process. The NZC Team is qualified and has in -depth <br />knowledge of Florida Statutes and it is ready to provide the following services to the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach: <br /> Town planning and urban design of neighborhoods; design of master plans, housing prototypes and <br />regulatfons that emphasize human scale, historic context, public open spaces and the pedestrian realm <br />for neighborhoods in the City of Sunny Isles Beach and also have the capabilitfes to perform grant writfng <br />for FEMA, Miami-Dade County and the State of Florida. The NZC Team delivered wok will be in <br />compliance with Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) Florida Statutes regulatfons. <br /> The NZC Team professionals (Ms. Nilsa Zacarias and Mr. Osniel Leon) are certified by the American <br />Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and have more than 10 years experience in urban planning. <br /> All survey work prepared for the City or through the NZC Team will comply with the Technical Standards <br />for Land Surveys in the State of Florida for work in commercial/high risk areas and any applicable state <br />laws, regulatfons or other requirements. <br /> Feasibility studies; Planning studies for operatfonal facilitfes; Registered Field Surveys - Design survey <br />services relatfng to meets and bounds, topography, elevatfon certfficates, GPS data collectfon and related <br />work; Inspectfons and evaluatfons; Collectfon of data; Engineering and economic feasibility reports and <br />studies; Cost estfmates and economic analysis; Attend meetfngs with City staff and presentatfons to City <br />Council; <br /> Community Outreach and Visioning; Community Redevelopment Planning; Corridor Planning; GIS <br />Mapping and 3-D Animatfon; <br /> Comprehensive Plans and Evaluatfon and Appraisal Analysis and Reports; Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendments – Analysis and Reports; Zoning and Land Development Regulatfons with an emphasis on <br />Form Based Codes; Master Planning; Architectural & Urban Designing; Transportatfon Planning; Parking <br />Studies; Site Plan Review. <br />13
