The original design documents provided to the City by the <br />various utility providers including FPL, Atlantic Broadband, and ATT required numerous updates for the <br />accurate preparation of bidding document scope. This, along with the addition of the Urban Trail and <br />Atlantic Avenue Sidewalk design that were not included in the original scope, resulted in additional <br />design work on behalf of CTA. It is recommended to approve the attached amendment for this <br />additional scope of work in an amount not to exceed $100,400.00. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />Pricing for this additional work is based on the rates in the original bid. The original contract amount <br />was $922,605.00. Amendment one provided for an additional $12,500 in design services. <br />Amendment two, if approved, will bring the total contract price to $1,035,505.00. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funding is budgeted for and available in the Capital Improvement Projects Fund, Item C-22, Goldei <br />Shores Drainage Repairs and Utility Undergrounding. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />Item Number: 10.1-1 <br />234 <br />
