19 <br />SECTION E Qualification Information and Assigned Personnel <br />RFQ # 21-11-01 PROFESSIONAL PLANNING AND ZONING CONSULTING SERVICES, CIVIL AND TRAFFIC ENGIEERING <br />Juan Sotero, PE has 18 years of <br />experience in the fields of civil and <br />roadway engineering and is a project <br />engineer responsible for assisting in <br />designing and producing roadway plans <br />for Florida Department of Transportation <br />FDOT), Miami-Dade County and other municipalities. <br />His experience consists of roadway design, signing and <br />pavement markings, signalization, and drainage design. <br />He prepares pavement design reports, typical section <br />packages, and design exception and variations reports. <br />Furthermore, he assists in post design services and <br />performs field inspections. <br />Mario Duron is an urban planner with <br />5-plus years of experience in community <br />planning, and whose work has been <br />recognized by the Florida Chapter of the <br />American Planning Association. In addition <br />to permitting and special licensing, Mario <br />has experience with processing major redevelopment plans, <br />amendments to the comprehensive plan, and changes <br />to land use regulations. Mario’s planning knowledge is <br />supported by his experience in environmental consulting <br />and his proficiency with GIS. Mario possesses a holistic <br />understanding of community planning and approaches <br />each project with this mindset.
