Numerous improvements were required in order <br />to meet ADA requirements, CALEA Policing Standards, appropriate indoor air <br />quality, new public safety technology systems such as security, audio / visual <br />and communications systems improvements, and to extend law enforcement <br />capabilities to the growing city population. <br />The 13,200-SF police headquarters was designed to include police administration, <br />uniform patrol, communications / dispatch, criminal investigations division, <br />evidence, code enforcement, records, booking and intake, professional services, <br />and a small emergency operations center.
