Bettoli has provided satisfactory vendinf <br />services to the City of Sunny Isles Beach under a current contract expiring May 30, 2022 (origina <br />Resolution 2017-2686). <br />The City of Parkland issued a Request for Proposal (RFP 2021-03 "Vending Machines Operation ani <br />Maintenance") which the City of Sunny Isles Beach intends to utilize as a piggyback contract to award a <br />contract to Bettoli commencing May 31, 2022 for an initial two (2) year term, with the option to <br />renew for an additional three (3) one (1) year terms. <br />Bettoli shall pay the City of Sunny Isles Beach a license fee equal to 27% of the gross sales from al <br />vending machines sales on City property in accordance with the Parkland agreement. This <br />arrangement is more favorable to the City than the expiring contract (which granted us 21% of sales). <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Not applicable - this is a revenue generating contract, no cost to the City. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Item Number: 10.T <br />577 <br />
