The Cultural & <br />Community Services Department surveyed residents to get feedback on what genre of music they <br />wanted for the marquee concert. The survey results showed that "pop" music was the number one <br />choice. <br />As such, we found a touring group, the UCI FSO Pop 2000 Tour, which includes multiple pop music <br />performers. As is standard with performing artists, we are required to engage in the agreement <br />through their agent, which in this scenario is Don Casino Productions, Inc. <br />In order to provide a successful and engaging event and ensure that we have these performers locked <br />in and secured, the City Manager determined it was appropriate to enter into a Sole Sourc( <br />Agreement with Don Casino Productions, Inc. <br />City staff is requesting ratification of this agreement in an amount not to exceed Sixty -Three Thousand <br />Five Hundred Dollars ($63,500.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />Item Number: 10.G <br />287 <br />
