He has served as senior scientist <br />and project manager for urban interface/environmental <br />system master planning, wetland delineation, wetland and <br />listed species permitting, habitat analysis and ecological <br />restoration, public involvement and meeting facilitation, <br />and conservation and park system management planning <br />projects for more than 15 years. Mr. Mejeur has worked <br />with both public and private sector clients to design and <br />implement multiple use approaches for natural system <br />protection the design and development of management <br />plans for parks and open space areas and ordinance <br />development. Mr. Mejeur has served multiple roles, most <br />recently as President, forthe Southeast Chapter of the <br />Society for Ecological Restoration. <br />Project Experience: <br />Pasco County Parks and Recreation Master Plan, Pasco <br />County, FL. <br />Currently ongoing, this project has an anticipated <br />completion date of fall, 2014. This project is highlighted <br />with extensive public involvement through use of surveys, <br />stakeholder interviews and public workshops. Tackling the <br />impacts from projected population growth over the next 25 <br />years, this plan will response to the unique characterisitcs <br />of the County with priorities identified for coastal, urban <br />areas and rural eastern area of the county. Utilizing the <br />Latest in public involvement techniques, GiS analysis, <br />survey instruments, the Pasco County plan will focus on <br />community-based needs and priorities to improve the <br />quality of life throughout the City. Specific project role <br />Includes project manager and lead planner forthe $125,000 <br />project. <br />77 <br />A :COM <br />Shingle Creek Regional Park Management Plan Update, <br />Osceola County, FL. <br />Served as project manager and primary client contact to <br />prepare an update to the management plan for Shingle <br />Creek Regional Park, a 1,500 acre park in northwestern <br />Osceola County. Led a workshop to identify master plan <br />and management updates to a 2007 plan. Coordinated <br />planning efforts for site plans and order of magnitude cost <br />estimates for improvements and developed a five phase <br />Implementation plan for the proposed improvements. <br />Established acquisition priorities and acquisition parcel <br />types for additional expansion of the park. Prepared the <br />management plan documenting the site plans, updated <br />management requirements, and phasing plans. Presented <br />the plans at a public meeting and the Osceola County Board <br />of County Commissioners meeting. <br />Deering Estate at Cutler, Miami -Dade County, FL. <br />Served as lead ecologist for the creation of a resource <br />management plan for the conservation and public <br />use of the Deering Estate at Cutler in Miami, Florida. <br />Facilitated stakeholder and public meetings. Prepared the <br />management plan document and coordinated with project <br />staff to identify resource management costs to include in <br />the management plan. <br />Lake Lizzie Natural Resource Management Plan, Osceola <br />County, FL. <br />Served as project manager and lead eoologistfor the <br />preparation of a natural resource management plan for <br />the approximately 1,017 acre Lake Lizzie Conservation <br />Area (LLCA) in northeastern Osceola County. Facilitated <br />a meeting with stakeholders to identify and prioritize <br />management requirements and actions for the LLCA. <br />Prepared a management plan that identified multiple <br />management units, requirements and/or constraints, <br />existing and proposed recreational facilities, and short -and <br />long-term management priorities for land managers to use <br />for staff and funding allocation over time. <br />AECOM <br />
