Performing a post -event walk-through with the City to assess facility condition <br />wherein the decision to refund a security deposit lies solely with the City. <br />X. Managing a shared calendar of events with the City and obtaining approval <br />from the City prior to confirming a rental with a client. Communicating weekly <br />with City to update on any confirmed venue rentals. <br />XI. Meeting with the City designee monthly to ensure all key information is <br />communicated and any issues/concerns are addressed. <br />In the case of a general emergency as declared by the City, the City retains the right to <br />immediately resume occupation, management, and maintenance of Gateway Center. <br />GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR USE OF FACILITIES: <br />Events — Gateway Center is designed to be used for events including, but not limited to, <br />celebrations, weddings, parties, corporate events, and meetings. <br />SMOKING / OPEN FLAMES <br />• Smoking inside any City facility is strictly prohibited. The event management company <br />will be required to adhere to and enforce this policy. <br />• The use of open flames, including but not limited to candles, tiki torches, and campfires <br />is strictly prohibited. The only exception to this is the gas grill inside the catering kitchen. <br />• Events are not permitted to utilize any type of fireworks/pyrotechnics. This includes <br />displays launched from City property or another location, with the intent of being viewed <br />by guests at Gateway Center. <br />PARKING <br />• All vehicles must remain on paved roads and/or parking lots. <br />• Secondary overflow parking available at Bella Vista Bay Parking lot, but must be <br />requested and approved for each specific event needing it. <br />SIGNS . <br />Any and all signs posted for events will comply with City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 265, Article <br />IX — Sign Regulations. <br />MUSIC <br />Audio decibels must comply with City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 193 - Noise.
