<br />Dear Selection Committee Members,
<br />It is with great pleasure that Keith and Associates Inc., dba KEITH, provides you with our team submittal for the City of Sunny
<br />Isles Beach RFQ #22-06-01. We believe our team is positioned well within the community, provides the expertise within
<br />our craft, infuses all our efforts with precision and creativity, and most importantly, we know your City. KEITH is proudly
<br />serving the City of Sunny Isles Beach on the current Engineering On-Call Services Contract. Over the past several
<br />years, the City has continued to reshape the community by reinvesting in the public realm and we applaud the City of Sunny
<br />Isles Beach for continuing to value key assets for the community to ensure the future success of the City, its businesses,
<br />residents, and visitors.
<br />KEITH is a trans-disciplinary firm that provides holistic site development solutions, offering in-house expertise in landscape
<br />architecture, civil engineering, surveying and mapping, planning, subsurface utility engineering, utility coordination,
<br />planning, transportation and traffic engineering, and construction management services. KEITH is a team of 180
<br />professionals and is led by Chief Executive Officer Dodie Keith-Lazowick, PSM, and President Alex Lazowick, PE, PMP, with
<br />offices throughout Florida. Our office locations include our headquarters in Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, West
<br />Palm Beach, Orlando, and Tallahassee.
<br />Throughout the Firm’s 60+ year history, KEITH has been awarded over 75 continuing services contracts. As one of the
<br />veteran consulting firms in the community, KEITH is extremely qualified to meet the City’s needs. Our team’s familiarity
<br />with your City, by providing similar services through many municipalities across South Florida, provides us with valuable
<br />insight into your project needs and requirements. We understand that numerous stakeholders, consultants, contractors,
<br />and agencies must work concurrently, effectively, and in harmony for infrastructure improvement projects to culminate
<br />in success. We recognize the critical importance of effectively coordinating with the City’s operations staff to minimize
<br />impacts to operations, beginning with the development of design alternatives/concepts through construction.
<br />Our experience with the City of Sunny Isles Beach, combined with our specific discipline knowledge, translates into an
<br />absolute minimal learning curve which can save the City precious resources, including time and money. Our involvement
<br />in the community extends well beyond the profession as we are active in various cities on a philanthropic and community
<br />support level. This support may be seen in the time, talent, and treasure that KEITH continues to give back.
<br />We believe collaboration is key to a successful project. To complete this KEITH Team, we have joined forces with industry
<br />experts in their crafts: Savino Miller will be providing landscape architectural design support, along with Cummins
<br />Cederberg, a Florida leader in coastal and marine engineering.
<br />KEITH recognizes that our primary responsibility in this contract will be to provide accurate and timely service, as individual
<br />work orders are authorized by the City. Careful consideration of individual project conditions, scopes, and the assignment
<br />of a responsive point of contact are necessary components in developing innovative project solutions and procedures to
<br />complete the project most efficiently and to maximize the benefit to the City. KEITH believes in a holistic approach to the
<br />design process which may be categorized into three general phases:
