Mr. Mark Castano has vast experience in civil engineering projects throughout Florida. His qualifications include planning, engineering design, permitting, construction administration and project management for a variety of civil engineering projects. His experience includes designing and managing a wide range of public and private land development (residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial) projects. He has extensive technical knowledge in water distribution systems, stormwater management systems, sanitary sewer systems including sewer lift stations, gravity sewers and force mains, roadway design throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Mr. Castano has had numerous project management responsibilities including managing contracts, multi-disciplinary teams, municipal/public entity capital and engineering programs, managing and setting up bid procurement processes, and preparation and monitoring project/CIP budgets. <br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Abbott Avenue Drainage, Surfside, FL: KEITH was retained by the Town of Surfside to provide civil engineering services for Abbott Avenue between 90th Street and 96th Street. KEITH's services include evaluation and assessment of the existing stormwater drainage conditions, preparing a report and offering options for improvements to resolve issues with ponding and setting water, including estimation of construction improvements. Civil engineering services include reviewing and evaluating information and materials pertaining to the existing report including plans, narrative, calculations, and the ICPR model. KEITH is also providing a findings and conclusion report to determine if the previous solutions are the best and cost-effective solutions for the Town. During the plan development, the KEITH Team is also scheduling early regulatory engagement to minimize risk and changes as a result of permitting by taking advantage of pre-application meetings. In addition, KEITH is evaluating the Town's existing land use development code, stormwater ordinance, and MS-4 reporting with recommendations and ordinance revisions for compliance and exceedance of federal, state, and local requirements. Future projections and infrastructure assessment is <br />also being provided to establish the framework required for stormwater models. Cost: $52,520.00 <br />Skate Park of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, FL: As a part of our continuing services contract with the City of Sunny Isles Beach, KEITH was retained to provide a topographic survey of the Town Center Skate Park. The survey included surface improvements such as buildings, roadways, pavement, sidewalks, traffic striping, walls, fences, and surface utilities. Trees were also surveyed and storm/sanitary structures were <br />noted with pipe invert elevation, diameter, material, and direction. Cost: $2,150.00 <br />Continuing Engineering, Planning & Surveying Services, Deerfield Beach, FL: KEITH has served as the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) for the City of Deerfield Beach for more than 16 years. KEITH provides ongoing continuing services, including engineering, surveying, and mapping services, as well as plan review services. Some projects provided under these contracts include Hillsboro Boulevard and A1A "S-Curve"; Beach Roadway Drainage and Beautification (Phases I and II); Ocean Way Drainage, Infrastructure, and Beautification Improvements; Deerfield Beach Sand and Dune Stabilization, Re-nourishment, and Erosion Control; Deerfield Beach Boardwalk Volleyball Courts and Artificial Reef Improvements; Intersection Improvement Design of Goolsby Boulevard/Hillsboro Boulevard; Intersection Improvement Design of Century Boulevard/Hillsboro Boulevard; Hillsboro Boulevard Streetscape Improvements; Sullivan Park/Kester Marina Developments; Pioneer Park and Boat Ramp Improvements; Paradise Point Engineering Design Surveys; Comprehensive Plan Housing Element Update; Industrial Zoning Ordinance; ADA Sidewalk Assessments and Design; Powerline Industrial Park FEMA Drainage Study and Grant Application; Redevelopment and Beautification; Deer Run <br />Parkway Boundary Survey; and Highlands Park Improvements.
