| 5CONTINUING SERVICES FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES | RFQ 22-06-01 d. Describe your companies resources and capabilities with respect to scheduling cost control, quality control and project coordination with sub consultants as well as with the City. Bermello Ajamil along with our team of consultants brings a vast array of resources to every project we work on. By maintaining a workable schedule and controlling the project costs throughout every step of the project, the City is guaranteed projects completed on time and within budget. For each assignment, our team will participate in the preparation of the initial schedule. Maintaining schedules allows realistic goals to be met, tasks to be identified and interrelationships to take place. These efforts foster communications for the benefit of cooperation and coordination of efforts and results. The maintenance of a project’s schedule is the best way to add, reduce and manage contingency plans for all interacting participants. The Project Development Master Schedule shall show the agreed milestone dates of each Project Phase through planning, design documents, permitting, bidding and construction administration completion dates. Our project management Team will meet with our subconsultants and City staff on a regular basis to verify that work is progressing along as scheduled and will address any issues or conflicts immediately, minimizing their impact on the schedule and project costs. The Bosch Group, our consulting cost estimators, have worked on an extensive number of Park and Streetscape Projects with BA and are one of the leading Cost Estimating firms in South Florida. When it comes to Value Engineering, we do not view it as a last minute reaction to an over budget project but rather as an ongoing process whereby the development of the design works though a process with the City’s budget. Our team will meet regularly with City staff to keep everyone appraised of the project progress and to be always aware of changing program or scope and to reduce any negative impacts on the projects. Our team will work hard to coordinate all aspects of the projects and will always keep the City involved in the process. e. The proposal should indicate the total number of employees of the firm, including the number of staff in the local office, the staff to be employed for the City’s project on a full time basis, indicate any subconsultants and their experience. As mentioned above, the total number of employees in the Firm is 126. Although we will manage this contract primarily from the Miami office (with a total of 89 employees), we will also be utilizing our Fort Lauderdale office (with a total of 22 employees) for various assignments. Both offices interchange projects on a regular basis and work closely together each day. The two offices have a combined total of 111 employees. The number of employees dedicated full time to the project will be based on the nature and scale of each assignment. We assure the City, BA will dedicate the staff needed to meet your expectations and satisfy all deadlines and deliverables. We sit down with our Clients day one with every assignment and determine what type of resources will be needed to successfully develop the project and meet the project schedule. BA has the manpower to work on several projects at once which may involve different teams or the same team depending on the workload from the project and the type of work. The entire team will work on a cloud-based secured file storage system that will organize each of the projects documents and allow close coordination between all disciplines in the preparation of design and contract documents for each project under this contract. Team coordination meetings will occur in the Miami or Fort Lauderdale office as needed or at the City of Sunny Isles Beach with your staff. Being equal distance between the two offices, we will work with you virtually and in person which ever is more productive.
