Qualification of Key Personnel Assigned to Engagement <br />Request for Qualifications # 22-06-01 Continuing Services for Landscape Architectural Services CCNA <br /> <br />Years of Experience: 4 <br />Years With the Firm: 3 <br /> <br />Education: <br />Master of Landscape Architecture <br />Florida International University, 2019 <br />Bachelor of Arts, Religion, Minor in Education <br />Florida State University, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br />Professional Experience: <br />Mr. Bradley is a Landscape Designer <br />supporting the firm's projects including <br />those in the public sector such as <br />municipal parks and recreation master <br />plans, park landscape, hardscape and <br />irrigation design, educational facilities as <br />well as streetscape for the Florida <br />Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />Relevant Project Experience: <br /> <br />City of Miami Fairlawn Community <br />Park - Under our continuing services <br />contract with the City of Miami, Miller <br />Legg was awarded the development of <br />programming, pre-design/concept, <br />design, construction document <br />preparation and construction phase <br />services for a new park on SW 63rd <br />Avenue. The scope includes civil <br />engineering, landscape architecture, <br />certified arborist, surveying and SUE, <br />structural, electrical and geotechnical <br />engineering as well as permitting, opinion <br />of probable cost and limited <br />construction administration. The passive <br />park will contain a shaded/fenced <br />children's playground, dog run, shared <br />pedestrian / bicyclist perimeter path, <br />light bollards, benches, pedestrian pole <br />lighting, irrigation, water fountain, bike <br />racks, receptacles, hardscape furniture, <br />access driveway and perimeter privacy <br />walls. Permitting will be coordinated <br />with the City of Miami, Miami-Dade <br />County DERM, WASD and SFWMD. <br />Survey services include boundary and <br />topographic and tree inventory. Miller <br />Legg will assist the City with the <br />presentation of conceptual designs at <br />Community Meetings to gather public <br />input for a final design. <br /> <br />City of Miramar Historic Public <br />Safety Complex - The City of Miramar <br />replaced the Civic Center and Child <br />Care building with a new one-story <br />24,000 SF building to accommodate its <br />police substation, storage, administrative <br />and other law enforcement and public <br />safety facilities, in addition to a surface <br />parking lot for safety vehicles. The new <br />building was certified Gold LEED <br />certification. Miller Legg provided civil <br />engineering design, permitting and <br />construction administration services as <br />part of the Architects Design Group <br />team. Government permitting included <br />the City of Miramar, Broward County <br />and FDEP. The firm also provided LEED <br />certification and value engineering review <br />services. <br /> <br />City of Plantation Parks & <br />Recreation Master Plan - Miller Legg <br />was selected to prepare the first <br />Plantation Parks and Recreation Master <br />Plan. The firm provided comprehensive <br />recreation planning to create the Master <br />Plan. The Parks and Recreation Master <br />Plan is a tool intended to help the City of <br />Plantation meet the current and future <br />recreation needs of the community. The <br />resident-driven plan serves as a source <br />of applicable decision-making <br />information, and establishes clear goals <br />and actionable objectives to guide staff, <br />advisory committees, and City Council in <br />their work to maintain and enhance <br />Plantation’s system of parks, recreation <br />facilities, and programs over the next ten <br />years. The Plan was based upon research <br />of existing facilities and programs, <br />recreation opportunities and needs <br />analyses specific to City of Plantation <br />demographics. To effectively gather and <br />disseminate information during the <br />planning phase, Public Outreach was an <br />important focus of the project. Public <br />workshops and Public Online Survey <br />assisted in determining community <br />recreation needs and desires. All 42 <br />Parks and 5 Community Centers sites <br />were reviewed, along with future <br />expansion opportunities to <br />accommodate program requirements. In <br />addition, Miller Legg assisted the City to <br />achieve its prestigious national CAPRA <br />(Commission for Accreditation of Park <br />and Recreation Agencies) accreditation, <br />a demonstrated management system of <br />best practices and measure of agency <br />quality of operation, management and <br />service to the community. <br />Michael Bradley, MLA <br />Landscape Designer (15% Availability) <br />
