She has worked on <br />boundary, topographic, right-of-way, <br />engineering design, construction layout, <br />and control surveys overseeing and <br />assisting with numerous projects for the <br />Florida Department of Transportation, <br />utilizing MicroStation. She also is <br />experienced in AutoCAD working with <br />numerous government and private <br />sector clients including municipalities and <br />counties, as well as for educational <br />facilities and health care clients, and <br />private developers. <br /> <br />Relevant Project Experience: <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Gwen <br />Margolis Park and Pelican <br />Community Park Artificial Turf - <br />The project consisted of the <br />reconstruction of existing natural turf <br />fields at Pelican Community Park and <br />Senator Gwen Margolis Park in the City <br />of Sunny Isles Beach with artificial turf. <br />Miller Legg provided the preparation and <br />permitting of drainage plans to collect <br />under the new drain systems installed as <br />part of the project, as well as surveying <br />services. In addition, construction <br />observation was provided to verify <br />compliance with the plans and for the <br />certification of the project through <br />regulatory agencies. <br /> <br />City of Miami Moore Park NW 36th <br />Street Driveway Revisions - As part <br />of the design for Moore Park, revisions <br />and permitting were done for the access <br />into the park, and the parking lot along <br />NW 36th Street. In addition, Miller Legg <br />provided topographic and misc. surveys. <br /> <br />City of Miami Gardens Rolling Oaks <br />Regional Park - Renovations of Rolling <br />Oaks Regional Park include construction <br />of a new one-story 4,000 SF recreation <br />building, renovated restroom facilities, <br />expansion of walking trail with lighting, <br />distance marker, and exercise stations, <br />new pavilions, new parking lot, <br />refurbished basketball and tennis courts, <br />new fencing, new shaded playgrounds, <br />new landscaping and irrigation, addition <br />of horseshoe pits, sand volleyball, mini <br />golf and splashpad, and video system and <br />WIFI. Miller Legg is providing civil <br />engineering, landscape architecture and <br />surveying services for this 7-acre park as <br />a subconsultant to Synalovski, Romanik <br />and Saye Architects. The civil scope <br />includes design of a lift station and on- <br />site force main extension to service the <br />proposed Welcome Center. An arborist <br />assessment of existing trees and palms <br />was carried out as part of the landscape <br />architecture services. <br /> <br />City of Coral Springs Municipal <br />Complex - Miller Legg provided <br />assistance with the master planning <br />phase of the new Coral Springs Municipal <br />Complex development, which is part of a <br />larger effort to redevelop the downtown <br />section of Coral Springs. Services <br />provided for this 5-story 74,000 SF City <br />Hall building/4-story 607-space parking <br />garage include: site civil engineering, <br />survey, traffic (vehicular/pedestrian) and <br />utilities infrastructure requirements, site <br />permitting, overall project scope <br />development and significant construction <br />observation services. Site civil <br />engineering support-related services <br />concerned the surface water <br />management system, canal <br />reconfiguration, vehicular/pedestrian <br />access/connectivity, signing, pavement <br />marketing, parking improvements and <br />cost estimates. Survey services <br />comprised as-built design, cross-sections <br />and various site design surveys. In <br />addition, community-oriented <br />programming and planning process <br />including meeting attendance was <br />provided. Miller Legg was a <br />subconsultant to Song & Associates <br />Architects.
