The development of this new park space was to be partially funded by The <br />Tel: 305.569.1859 <br />Garden Club and dedicated to honor Mrs. Lamar Louise Curry, one of their most distinguished <br />joliveros@coralgables.com <br />members. One of the tasks was to prepare a conceptual design for the park to incorporate a <br />passive space for families with small children to wait while other family members visit the <br />2019-2022 <br />Venetian Pool. Several conceptual plan options were prepared for review by the City staff, and <br />as a result, the final plan featured an open space play area, two shaded seating areas, two <br />ei vicc;s I'rr �. icier., <br />raised planter boxes, and a rock garden that will function as a water filtration system for the <br />f <br />Landscape Architecture <br />overspill water from the Venetian Pool. A diverse palette of tropical trees and flowering plant <br />t -J <br />Surveying <br />material was also selected and approved by the Garden Club. <br />Civil Engineering <br />Hardscape Design <br />CGA's Landscape Architecture staff assisted the City's Project Management team with <br />Irrigation Design <br />this effort by preparing detailed construction documents for the demolition, new site plan, <br />_ <br />Renderings <br />landscaping, fencing, irrigation design, walkways, lighting, and water features in the park. <br />CGA's Civil Engineering staff developed plans for additional drainage and sidewalk/crosswalk <br />1"HI-i;1 c , ,. <br />improvements to further enhance the area surrounding the park.
