General Civil Engineering Supporting Services <br />CGA has assembled a team of qualified professionals who have experience working with municipalities and completed <br />numerous projects of similar scope, who possess the diversity of technical skills required, and who have a full understanding <br />of the requirements and intricacies associated with the types of projects as listed in the scope of this Request for Qualifications <br />(RFQ). We have assembled a team that is fully committed to dedicating the necessary manpower, expertise, and attentiveness <br />to ensure that the City of Coral Gables meets its objectives through the provision of these services. <br />CGA staff works on a daily basis with a variety of municipalities throughout South Florida and since its inception, CGA has <br />served as professional consultant to various municipalities throughout Florida. CGA has provided services to 83 municipalities <br />including, but not limited to, the Cities of Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Plantation, Dania Beach, Hallandale <br />Beach, Weston, Pembroke Pines, and Fort Lauderdale; Town of Davie; and as well as Broward County Highway Construction <br />and Engineering Division. CGA has excellent client satisfaction; many of our client relationships exceed 10 years in length. <br />For these clients, CGA has performed consulting engineering for hundreds of projects both under and above the $4 million <br />construction cost threshold established by the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA). Our team is equipped to <br />handle projects varying in nature and timeline and understands the City's needs vary from city bridge rehabilitations and park <br />upgrades to utility infrastructure improvements including water, sewer, and stormwater upgrades. <br />CGA has multiple divisions that work seamlessly together: municipal, utility, land development, highway engineering, <br />surveying, and mapping, construction engineering and inspection, traffic engineering, planning, landscape architecture and a <br />GIS department. CGA has the capability internally and/or through the coordination of subconsultants to effectively design and <br />manage the projects the City needs completed per the RFQ. The Municipal Division serves as consultants or staff engineers <br />to various local, county and state governments. The Utility Division provides design and permitting assistance with projects <br />associated with water and wastewater infrastructure improvements. The Land Development Division performs civil site work <br />design applications for CGA's public and private sector clients including hospitals and developers. The Highway Division plans, <br />designs, and permits roadways ranging from turn lanes to divided thoroughfares. The following are some of the types of <br />municipal projects that we have successfully completed: <br />• Complete Street improvements including paving and drainage; <br />• Streetscape and parking lots; <br />• Roadway design; <br />• Water Use Permits, both potable and irrigation; <br />• Stormwater management; <br />• Master planning and design; and <br />• Construction inspection and observation. <br />L; Municipal Engineering <br />CGA's staff has experience working alongside multiple municipal governments and staff, has experience attending Commission <br />Meetings as well as performing Planning, Engineering, and Traffic Site Plan Review Services. CGA has performed various <br />projects for municipalities from roadway improvements to complete park re -designs, from small landscaping projects to full <br />roadway reconstruction. Additionally, the CGA team has extensive experience with building/engineering permit plans review <br />as well as experience with assisting municipalities in obtaining grants or executing projects funded by grants with specific <br />I time constraints or reporting requirements.
