Arias, Chief Information Officer <br />DATE: July 21, 2022 <br />RE: Award Request for Proposals No. 22-04-01 to Unitec, Inc. for Citywide Fibe <br />Optic Network <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of this Resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />On April 1, 2022 the City of Sunny Isles Beach issued Request for Proposals No. 22-04-01, titles <br />Citywide Fiber Network Deployment. On May 31, 2022, the City Clerk's Office received three <br />responses, Bore Tech Utilities & Maintenance, Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC and Unitec, Inc. 0 <br />June 9, 2022, Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC was deemed non-responsive. On June 14, 2022, th <br />Evaluation Committee, appointed by the City Manager, met in a Sunshine Meeting to evaluate and <br />score two proposals, Bore Tech Utilities & Maintenance and Unitec, Inc. On June 21, 2022, the Cit, <br />invited Bore Tech Utilities & Maintenance and Unitec, Inc. for oral presentations followed by <br />sunshine evaluation committee meeting. The Notice is hereby given that based on the evaluation <br />factors set forth in the Request for Proposal and the scoring results, the Evaluation Committee <br />recommends to award and enter into agreement with Unitec, Inc. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funds have been appropriated in account no. 300-5-5390-465000-99010. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />Item Number: 10.A <br />61 <br />
