VII of the State Constitution). Zoning is one of the factors considered by our office to establish the market <br />value of Real property for ad valorem purposes (Ref. s. 193.011, F.S.). For this reason, it is important that the Property <br />Appraiser’s zoning information is accurate and up to date. <br /> <br />To accomplish this task, we request the following: <br /> <br />• Regularly forward to our office all adopted zoning resolutions, ordinances, and regulations. <br />• Annually, or after a major zoning change event, provide our office with the most recent zoning map <br />available on a PDF file or Shape file. Shape files are preferred as they can be added to our Geography <br />Information System (GIS) and facilitate the information exchange. <br />• As needed, provide updated contact information for your Zoning and Information Services Department’s <br />personnel. <br /> <br />To facilitate this effort, you may submit the required information, or any inquiries regarding this process, to our dedicated <br />zoning email at PAZoning@mdcpa.net.
