<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach & City of North Miami Beach| Drainage Improvements & Watermain <br />Replacement 26 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services / Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach is seeking to retain a qualified (“Contractor” or “Bidder”) capable of providing <br />all services specified in Exhibit C. <br /> <br />The City of North Miami Beach is seeking to retain a qualified (“Contractor” or “Bidder”) capable of <br />providing all services specified in Exhibit D. <br /> <br />3.2 REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACTOR <br /> <br />Contractors interested in performing these services must exhibit considerable relevant experience with this <br />type of work and should emphasize both experience and capability of particular personnel who will actually <br />perform the work. All Architects, Engineers and General Contractors must be licensed by the State of Florida <br />and maintain certification as and be in good standing with the Department of Business and Professional <br />Regulations. Contractors should demonstrate that they have experience working with seawall structures, <br />preferably for government. The selected Contractor will be responsible for obtaining City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach Building permits necessary for the construction of the projects. <br /> <br />The project services shall include but not be limited to the following: <br /> <br />1. Contractor to supply drawings and calculations and obtain a building permit. <br /> <br />2. Providing as-built drawings, applicable product data and operational manuals to the City. <br /> <br />3. All necessary engineering plans. <br /> <br />4. The Contractor shall schedule regular progress meetings every week during the project. <br /> <br />5. Provide overall project management and coordination necessary to accomplish these tasks. <br /> <br />3.3 AS-BUILT RECORDS <br /> <br />A complete set of as-built records shall be kept by the Contractor at the job site. These records shall show <br />all items of construction and equipment which differ in size, shape, or location from those shown on the <br />Contract drawings, also any additional work, existing features or utilities revealed by construction work <br />which are not shown on the Contract drawings. These records shall be kept up to date daily. They may be <br />kept on a marked set of Contract drawings to be furnished the Contractor for this purpose, or in any other <br />form which is approved prior to the beginning of the work. They shall be available at all times during <br />construction for reference by the Engineer and shall be delivered to the Engineer prior to pre-final <br />inspection. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
