techniques, sequences and procedures of construction. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible to see <br />that the finished Work complies with the Contract Documents. <br />6.8 Project Management. <br />6.8.1 During the progress of on -site construction, CONTRACTOR shall provide full time <br />(defined to be 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, legal holidays excluded) <br />competent project supervision and any necessary assistants who shall not be replaced without written <br />notice to CITY. The superintendent will be CONTRACTOR'S representative at the site. <br />6.8.2 The day to day management of the Project's subcontractors and vendors contracts, <br />schedules -and requests for payment shall be by a competent project manager to whom the <br />superintendent shall report. The project manager will conduct regularly scheduled project meetings <br />for the purpose of project coordination and communication. The project manager shall be included <br />in the cost of the Work. <br />6.9 Labor. <br />6.9.1 Construction services shall be performed only by qualified construction contractors <br />licensed to do business in the State ofFlorida and suppliers, selected and paid by the CONTRACTOR. <br />6.9.2 CONTRACTOR shall provide and pay for competent, suitably qualified personnel to <br />perform the work as required by the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall not permit <br />employment of unfit persons or persons not skilled in tasks assigned to them. CONTRACTOR shall <br />at all times maintain good discipline and order at the site. <br />6.10 Materials. <br />6.10.1 Unless otherwise specified herein, CONTRACTOR shall furnish, pay for and assume <br />full responsibility for all materials, equipment, transportation, machinery, tools, appliances, water, <br />heat, utilities and all other facilities and services necessary for the furnishing, performance, testing, <br />start-up and proper completion of the Work. <br />6.10.2 CONTRACTOR warrants that all materials and equipment shall be new and of good <br />quality and that the work will be free from defects in material and workmanship whether patent or <br />latent in nature. All materials and equipment shall be applied, installed, connected, erected, used, <br />cleaned and conditioned in accordance with the instructions of the applicable Supplier except as <br />otherwise provided in the Contract Documents. <br />13 <br />
