Cultural & Community Services Department has been satisfied with the services provided b, <br />Academy Bus, LLC. Due to the current state of the economy and inflation, Academy Bus, LLC ha <br />requested an increase in fees from $84.39 to $100.00 per hour, plus a 7.5% fuel fee and a 7.5% Safety <br />Compliance Fee which equates to $115 per hour. <br />Due to the increased amount, we contacted the second lowest bidder, Florida Tours, and they are now <br />charging $130 per hour. <br />At this time, we wish to exercise the city's first renewal option from May 25, 2023, and renew the <br />contract through May 25, 2024. The total cost of the renewal will have a not to exceed amount of <br />$50,000.00. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funds have been appropriated in account no. 001.6.5720-452000-608XX. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />Second Amendment <br />Item Number: 10.6 <br />
