Provided however, this shall not preclude the City inspector from notifying <br />the Contractor of any hazardous or dangerous condition; <br />(f) Participate in specialized field or laboratory tests. <br />6.5 Coordination and Scheduling of Work <br />6.5.1 The Contractor shall cooperate with the City and any separate contractors <br />retained by the City, and the Contractor shall carefully coordinate and schedule the Work as <br />may be required to accommodate without delay or interference the Work of the City or any of <br />its separate contractors. <br />6.6 Contractor Responsible for Delays <br />6.6.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for any damages caused to the City as a <br />result of any delays caused by the Contractor. <br />6.7 Contractor Storage <br />6.7.1 The Contractor shall remain solely responsible for protection and safekeeping of <br />equipment and materials at or near the sites, and no claim shall be made against the City by <br />reasons of any act of an employee or trespasser. The Contractor will retain a full set of contract <br />documents in the field administration office including this document and current as -built plans <br />available for the City's access at all times. <br />ARTICLE VII <br />THE CONTRACTOR <br />7.1 Upon providing no less than forty-eight (48) hours' notice to the Contractor, <br />the City may conduct a pre -construction conference at a time and place set forth in the <br />aforesaid notice. ATTENDANCE AT ALL PRE -CONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE(S) IS <br />MANDATORY AND FAILURE TO ATTEND SHALL BE A MATERIAL BREACH OF <br />THIS CONTRACT. <br />7.2 The Contractor shall perform no part of the Work, including ordering of material, <br />at any time without adequate Contract Documents or, as appropriate, approved Shop <br />Drawings, Product Data or Samples for such portion of the Work. If the Contractor performs <br />any of the Work knowing it involves a recognized error, inconsistency, or omission in the <br />Contract Documents without such notice to the City's Representative, the Contractor shall <br />bear responsibility for such performance and shall bear the cost of correction. <br />7.3 The Contractor shall perform the Work strictly in accordance with the Contract <br />Documents. The Contractor shall also be responsible for all cutting, fitting, or patching that <br />may be required to complete the Work or to make its several parts fit together properly. <br />�� 13 <br />
