e <br />O <br />e <br />• <br />e <br />e <br />0 <br />0 <br />0 <br />e <br />e <br />0 <br />e <br />0 <br />e <br />0 <br />e <br />e <br />• <br />e <br />e <br />e <br />e <br />e <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />QUALIFICATIONS <br />EXPERIENCE <br />0 <br />Sullivan Park B &A developed alternative master plan concepts for an existing <br />Deerfield Beach, Florida 3 -acre, underutilized waterfront park. <br />Although the existing park was visually isolated due to its location <br />Client: City of Deerfield Beach and poorly maintained, the City wished to incorporate the park info <br />redevelopment of the waterfront and the City's new commercial <br />core to the south. with a significant historical background, the site <br />offered on opportunity to educate park users about the colorful <br />history of the community and the role the site played in that history. <br />A primary goal of the park master plan and design was to provide <br />an interpretive program for visitors. <br />The approved development program for the revitalized park <br />included two playgrounds, a restroom pavilion, picnic shelters, an <br />interactive water feature, a 15 -foot -wide waterfront promenade <br />and o new stair tower to connect the site to the bridge leading <br />over to the City's beachfront area. Since the City has limited <br />Intracoastal waterfront access, one of the primary goals for the <br />park's redevelopment was to increase public access to the water. <br />This was accomplished by incorporating a small manna along the <br />north shoreline of the park and a floating dock along the east <br />shoreline for safely launching paddle boards and kayaks into the <br />water.
