11
O QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
Losner Park Losner Park is a major open space for both the City's Downtown
Homestead, Florida and the Krome Avenue sector of Historic Downtown Homestead.
This is one of the City's most centrally located parks and can
Client: City of Homestead become a point of attraction for citizens of all areas of the City of
Homestead.
The project addressed the identification of public uses that could
be included in Losner Park to make it more active and attractive
to the community at large. The inclusion of an interactive water
feature was identified to attract families and help local businesses.
The Interactive Water Feature design proposes maintaining a
substantial amount of green space that is presently in the park;
green space that is also used as a viewing area for the stage. The
stage will not be impacted in its design or viewing area. The water
feature provides an opportunity to create a seating area facing
the stage and a hard surface to connect activities in the park.
An open air eating area adjacent to the Seminole Theater
is proposed. This eating area will work in conjunction with a
concession.
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES I REG NO. I4 -07 -02
26
