Firm's Background and History
<br />SRS Engineering Inc was started by its current president and owner, Ignacio Serralta, in 1995 under the name
<br />Serralta and Associates, Inc. We soon began providing civil engineering services to local private clients and
<br />' municipalities. Among our first public contracts were The City of Sweetwater and Florida International
<br />University. Within a few years, SRS grew to seven employees and began establishing a reputation for quality
<br />work and service. As our client base expanded, our firm grew and by the year 2000 housed a total of 12
<br />' employees. By this time, SRS had a long list of satisfied clients and had been awarded continuous
<br />miscellaneous contracts with Miami -Dade Parks and Recreation Department, Florida International University,
<br />Miami -Dade County Schools and The City of Hialeah. In 2003, SRS was awarded a large contract with DERM
<br />as a Master Consultant for the FEMA -DORM Project. Shortly thereafter, Pat Rebull, P.E. and Charles Serig,
<br />R.A. joined the firm as partners and the firm was renamed Serralta, Rebull, Serig, Inc. With the FEMA -DORM
<br />Project and the continued growth of engineering projects, the firm expanded to 24 employees. In 2004, SRS
<br />began providing land development engineering services and quickly established a long list of successful large
<br />' land development projects and prominent local developers as clients. In 2005, Mr. Serralta once again
<br />obtained 100% ownership of the firm. The firm's name was changed to its current name, SRS Engineering,
<br />Inc., and moved to its current location in the Marina Lakes Business Park area of Southwest Miami -Dade
<br />County where it has continued to prosper. In 2009, Ms. Gisela Rey and Gustavo Gonzalez joined the firm and
<br />we began providing structural engineering design services. Today, SRS provides a wide range of services
<br />including general civil and structural engineering, and construction management and inspections.
<br />In addition to our focus on excellence in design and service, our firm is guided by principals who understand
<br />that in order for the firm to succeed it must have satisfied clients. Our Team will be led by Mr. Ignacio Serralta,
<br />' P.E., who is owner and President of the Firm. Our Vice President and Senior Project Manager will be Mr.
<br />Oliverio Sanchez, P.E. who will serve as Principal -In- Charge. Mr. Sanchez is further assisted by Mr. Jean -
<br />Claude Fontaneau, our Senior Project Engineer. As a result, SRS's success is largely due to the principals'
<br />strong commitment to its clients and the quality of our work. Principals at SRS are involved in every aspect of
<br />the business from design and project management to employee recruitment. Project management and contract
<br />performance is personally directed by a principal who is thoroughly experienced, licensed professional
<br />engineer. This approach results in a very personalized service to every client with ease of communication and
<br />top talent on every assignment. The efforts of SRS' principals are complemented by experienced project
<br />engineers and talented professional staff that are adept at understanding clients' needs and work hard to deliver
<br />the results that clients want.

<br />Today, SRS Engineering, Inc. provides services to a long list of clients in both the public and private sector and
<br />' is currently under contract to provide miscellaneous municipal engineering services to The City of Hialeah, The
<br />City of Miami, City of Homestead, City of South Miami, Florida Department of Military Affairs, and Naranja
<br />Lakes CRA. SRS also provides services to a long list of private clients, including Shoma, Century Builders,
<br />' Publix, Dr, Pepper, Hialeah Racetrack, UM, and many more. SRS's ability to weather this current economic
<br />downturn has been largely due to our long list of clients and our continued commitment to provide our clients
<br />with excellent service. Our principles and staff fully understand the importance of providing quality service and
<br />exceptional customer care.
<br />t SRS is currently home to 15 employees. Our professional staff includes 6 Civil Engineers, 1 Structural
<br />Engineers, 4 AutoCAD Designers, 1 Contract Support Specialist, 2 Construction Inspectors, and 1 Marketing
<br />Coordinator.
